Amann Dental, in Spearfish, is seeking a part-time hygienist to join our amazing team 1 day per week. This position will also have the opportunity to temp for team hygienists, and potentially grow into more days. We have 2 caring Dr's and an amazing team to help support the right hygienist to thrive and successfully care for their patients.
Hours needed: Fridays 7-3, beginning in January.
Benefits available. Scrubs provided, on site laundry.

We are in need of a fill-in hygienist for maternity leave mid-May 2025 through the end of July 2025 or any portion of this time period. We need 1-4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, however it would work in your schedule. We have a great atmosphere and team who will help you in any way possible. Busy family practice. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including reviewing medical and dental histories
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to prevent cavities
Take and develop dental X-rays with precision, ensuring patient comfort throughout the process
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with dentists and the rest of the team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Stay informed about the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies, enhancing patient care
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist license in South Dakota
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Excellent clinical skills with strong attention to detail
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for patient care
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Prior experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
